Louth Local Sports Partnership in conjunction with Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland and Dundalk Ice Dome have organised ice skating sessions for wheelchair users. The sessions will be held on the last Wednesday of every month in Dundalk Ice Dome and the first session will take place on Wednesday 26th August from 12 to 1pm or 6 to 7pm. Multisport Club for children with disabilitites starts Tuesday 29th September 2009. The Multisport club takes place in Dundalk Sports Centre in Muirhevnamor and is run by Louth LSP. The multisport activities club caters for children aged 5 to 12 years old. The club will provide a range of different sports for children to participate in and experience. The Multisport club will let children experience different sports under the supervision of experienced coaches in the area of adapted physical activity. Admission to the club is €3.

This is a regional club incorporating the following counties; Cavan, Louth & Monaghan. The first meeting of this club is due to take place on Wednesday, 18th February, 2009 in the Phoenix Sports Centre, Carrickmacross County Monaghan between 11.30am-1pm.
The ‘Power Soccer Regional Club’ is a new exciting sporting initiative to take place regionally. This club will be for people with a physical disability who use manual or powered wheelchairs. The focus of this new club will be to introduce the game of power soccer and to allow all participants involved to develop their skills through power soccer drills and games. It is hoped that such a club will be ongoing with future plans to develop county & regional teams to compete nationally.
